DANIEL- Hair Stylist, Salon Owner
Daniel began his career many years ago at Nino’s Salon in Birmingham; it wasn’t long before he worked his way up to an expert stylist. His creative talent really shines through with his precision short haircuts. He has a great love for hair color and believes it should look as natural as possible. He is well known for his highlighting abilities which he learned years ago from Jon Gunther in New York. Daniel is a natural at corrective hair color, “Color can highlight and transform natural beauty. I love to accentuate a woman’s finer features with a haircut and custom color.” He revels in the relationships he has created with his clients as well as the superior work of his staff.

Darlene, wife of Daniel, has been involved in the beauty industry for many years. You can find her in the salon at any given time working behind the scenes. Her attention to detail contributes to the business aspect, as well as reflecting in the atmosphere within.

BARB- Hair Stylist
Celebrating over twenty years as a stylist, Barb’s enthusiasm for this industry is contagious. “What I love most is the ability to be creative on a daily basis, whether it is a new cut or color technique, or creating an up-do or formal hairstyle for a special event. The opportunity to do something entirely new each day is something that can’t be said about very many professions.” Barb loves interacting with, and learning from so many different people as well as the chance to brighten someone’s day and it shows with her client retention. She keeps up-to-date with the latest techniques and products through in-salon education as well as industry trade shows and publications.

CHRISTOPHER- Apprentice
Christopher is an apprentice here at Daniel's Salon & Studio. He is among the newer additions to the salon bringing unique life experiences and knowledge to the salon environment. Christopher enjoys utilizing color and new techniques while learning basic principles in cosmetology. Yielding a strong personality in customer service, pride in his work and growing talents, he continues to absorb the years of talent and skill that the staff at Daniel’s Salon & Studio has to offer.

Jackie has been in the Rochester area for many years and enjoys working in the community. Her creativity comes through in the “total look”; she makes it a point to teach her clients how to achieve their desired style in their everyday life. LAURA- Hair Stylist
Some people are lucky enough to discover their passion at an early age. Laura is one of them. With over 20 years as an accomplished hair designer, Laura has developed a creative and artistic talent in cutting, coloring and styling. Having natural curly hair herself, she understands the ins and outs of curly hair. She also enjoys creating texture and volume for clients with long hair that wish to maintain their length. Laura's commitment to communication is a great asset to her clientele, allowing them to obtain the styles that they desire. As a tenured stylist she maintains her creative edge by continuing education in new concepts and trends.

Liz grew up in the Rochester area and has been a dedicated stylist for many years. She is a very professional hair designer with a relaxed attitude which immediately puts new clients at ease. She listens carefully giving her the ability to execute on the clients vision. Liz is a skilled artist with the scissors, and as a Certified Matrix Colorist she loves to personalize color for each person to create a vibrant and beautiful look. Her clientele is of all ages, she loves to highlight the natural beauty in all. She stays current with the latest trends by attending industry shows as well as in salon classes and product knowledge.

MARY- Hair Stylist
After graduating from the Donbe Academy of Cosmetology, Mary furthered her education studying advanced hair cutting techniques under renowned stylist Ezio Tamburrini of Canada. Mary has built her reputation over the years with great attention to detail; she has mastered techniques in both haircutting and hair color. From classic cuts to modern styles Mary creates cuts that are manageable and versatile. She’s a Certified Matrix Colorist and a proud member of Daniels Salon & Studio where continued training is the cornerstone of our success.

Nancy has been a professional hair designer for many years working in high quality salons. She loves the creative aspect of the business, and the ever changing trends that allow for learning new techniques in cutting as well as hair color. Nancy is a full service stylist, with an eye for hair color; her clients are of all ages, both men and women. She loves to meet new people and enjoys working with the team of professionals at Daniels Salon & Studio.

NICOLE- Hair Stylist
A master stylist with 17 years experience and a Technical Educator for Scruples Professional Products Inc., Nicole says the excitement of helping someone discover how beautiful they are never diminishes. “I truly love what I do,” said the stylist, who describes her work as “sophisticated with a spark.” Vibrant, energetic and committed to excellence Nicole seizes every opportunity to stay current with the ever-changing trends in both hair and fashion with specialized international trainings like “The Global Design Academy,” “Training for Tomorrow,” and “Trend Release 2007 & 2008.” When she is not “behind the chair,” Nicole instructs other professional stylists on the latest color and cutting techniques through in-salon classes and industry shows. Nicole created and maintains the “Studio” portion of Daniels Salon & Studio—a fine-arts-caliber gallery featuring the work of renowned local & national artists and she coordinates the annual “Hearts Inspired” Artworks Auction/Gala to help “The Rainbow Connection” grant wishes for children with chronic/life threatening illnesses.

SANDI- Hair Stylist
Sandi’s passion for hairstyling started in 1976, when she began to apprentice. Her down to earth demeanor and communication skills have allowed her the ability to listen to the clients needs and create beautiful, sexy, and versatile hairstyles. She has created styles for fashion shows, as well as the runway at Americoif shows. Sandi keeps up with the trends by attending industry hair shows, and in- salon classes. She specializes in and has great cutting skills, as well as permanent waving. She takes pride in her work and it shows.

Roberta is state licensed and has over 20 years experience in the industry. She has remained current in all the latest techniques, specializing in spa manicures and spa pedicures. Our heated massage chairs with a whirlpool footbath create a warm and inviting atmosphere, Roberta adds to the relaxation with the magic of her hands.

ROSIE- Certified Massage Therapist
Rosie started using her talents to calm and soothe tired, sore and aching muscles in 1980. She is very passionate about being an integral part of her clients’ health, and beauty experiences. She specializes in relaxing, stress and toxin eliminating massage, as well as deep tissue massage. She has given her gifted deep tissue massage to a number of professional athletes. Rosie says “There is incredible value to the healing benefits of human touch.” She has built up a solid reputation on the best endorsement of all- word of mouth.

CARLY- Receptionist
Carly is the sweet voice you hear when calling to make an appointment at Daniels Salon & Studio. She is a friendly, and very helpful “people person”. She is quick to accommodate, if you cannot find the product you’re looking for, she makes sure to place a special order. She enjoys the Salon atmosphere and says “As of right now I am the receptionist, but who knows? Maybe one day I’ll be doing hair”.
